On Havertz, Jesus, Madueke and Odegaard, Arteta said:

"They are all progressing really well. They have all started to do certain activities. They are all super-willing to be available as quick as possible, but at the moment none of them are yet in contention in the next week or so."
Full quote on Gabriel:

"Obviously, Big Gabi had to leave the pitch with an issue and he hasn't been able to train yet. So, let's see how he evolves in the next 24 hours, whether he is available or not for the weekend."
Arteta says Gabriel is a doubt for Crystal Palace on Sunday:

“Big Gabi had to leave the pitch [against Atletico] with an issue. He hasn’t been able to train yet.”
Yeah, hamstring or thigh issue.

Plenty of remarkable stats around Arsenal's defence, none more so than this:

In 25 per cent of Arsenal's games this season, the opponent has not had a single shot on target.
This week's column is on Arsenal's defence.

Sir Alex Ferguson famously said: “Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles.”

And, Arsenal have the best one around.

Gabriel Jesus has given an update on his recovery.

“My knee is responding very well. So now I’m looking forward to being around the team again soon, to come back to do what I love to do.”

Four goals in 13 minutes, Rice's set-pieces and Arsenal's defence - but the most impressive thing from last night?

Arsenal did it all without Jesus, Havertz, Madueke and Odegaard being in the squad.

Their depth is unrivalled.

Arsenal 4-0 Atletico Madrid

A real statement result and performance from Arsenal. Utterly dominant in the second-half, when they blew Atletico away. So many good performances all across the pitch, but thought Rice was a monster in midfield.
This reminds me a lot of the PSG game, here, which was around this time last season.

Arsenal just look so dominant physically, with and without the ball. The pace and power of this side is ridiculous when it is firing.
Mosquera and Nwaneri coming on, Gabriel and Eze off.
Another set-piece, another Gyokeres goal.

Arsenal running riot.

Arsenal 4-0 Atletico
GOAL. Arsenal. Gyokeres (again).
Gabriel moving fine, since this, but suspect he will be off soon. This game is done.
Gabriel down, here.

Appeared to be stretching his quad.

Seems okay, but Calafiori and Mosquera warming up.
The striker ends his wait for a goal.

A superb ball by Zubimendi finds Martinelli down the left.

His cross eventually comes to Gyokeres, who turns the ball home.

Arsenal 3-0 Atletico
Great goal.

Made by MLS, who carries the ball 30 to 40 yards - from inside his own half - before teeing up Martinelli.

It's a lovely, curled finish, too.
