This is why I find the hardcore anti-Nintendo crowd so repellant.

Disagree. Having the choice between old and new is great.
Also, if they did this nowadays, there'd be ~100 at most pre-credits, which would be terrible for team variety. The only way I could see it working is if they went back 150 per gen, which is just unrealistic tbh.

Like, I'm not saying GF/TPCi are infallible; I'm not happy about how they're handling the Mega Dimension DLC, with it essentially being a Day 1 Season Pass.
However, the things I've seen posted just go WAAAY overboard.
