I keep going back to check to see whether a writer has posted the next series of updates in a serial, and tbh I have grown to hate the number 8 this week. Bitchass number, too symmetrical.

The kayfabe explanation for this is essentially exposure therapy; It had happened to Mox so many times that he had a way to counter it, and even if he hadn't, the DRiders were around to save him.

With the Death Lock, he had just had his knee hit with a bat repeatedly, and all the DRiders were out.

Darby should adapt the Scorpion Death Drop and Lock as signatures going forward. Frankly, he should do the SDD more than he does the Coffin Drop because every time he does a Coffin Drop on the apron I'm betting at least one vertebrae asks itself if today's the day.
