For clarity (just in case):

• IsekaiPancreas updates on Saturday or Sunday, around 11 AM US Mountain Time
• The priority queue will always be 5 pages ahead, so if I'm unable to finish a page, there will be no public update either
• I will try to draw other things alongside but I will be 90+% comic

I have a lot of dumb baggage with identity and perception myself so having some voice of reason to gently nudge me is very much appreciated 👍

Honestly, that's a pretty fair counterpoint.

I don't think I put enough consideration into the overall meaning of "came for the queer, stayed for the artist". My brain just wants to hyper-focus on the first clause of the statement and be "🙃" over it.

That's the perspective I need to embrace, yes.

I just have a dumb brain thing where identity-related growth feels like "cheating" and an indictment against my skills --if I wouldn't be nearly as popular without being visibly queer, then I'm not worth that follower count.

Self-esteem be tricksy.

A weird feeling as of late...

On one hand, I don't exactly like the idea of possibly being supported/followed "just" because I'm queer --like I'm a checkbox on a list.

But on the other hand, I feel I should leverage every avenue for community growth as that can potentially also grow my safety net.

Never understood that one bit.

So the amount and difficulty of conversion could be anywhere from "huh, that worked out nicely" to incoherent screaming.

I imagine the "marks and bleeds" part is probably what would turn this hypothetical endeavor into a nightmare.

I don't draw with any meaningful print settings so it's possible I'd have to do a metric buttload of adjustments... Which I'm not entirely wont to do.

Though if we're talking about the true first upload, that was to the priority queue back in July of 2024.

Either way, we're past the halfway point after one year of running, so hopefully I'll be wrapping this up by about this point next year! (oh my god)
