Fascinating study. So many things to digest. Having seen how an appeal to gut over brain has been such a successful strategy in the last decade, it's always interesting to read research that attempts to shed light on this area. The -ve correlation with 'delayed gratification' is no surprise!

No doom and gloom for me about #lfc losing to Chelsea. Even with Salah failing to hit the target the xG had us winning 2-1, and Caiceido's shot was a 1 in 20 strike. The underlying trend is fine. We'll be ok come Xmas.

I think that's Arne's preferred back 4, and Ibou needs some stability around him so I'm happy with that. The faithful 3 in midfield (with Jones on for Macca later) and first choice front 3. I'm happy with that, and I think Mo will be too, with the familiarity of Szob and Bradley on his wing.

Salah's non-penalty goals last season were top draw.
But, #lfc do have quality penalty takers
And, we now have Isak.

Slot has taken the bold decision to implement his new ideas in one go, while us fans are used to phased introductions. Salah and Konate in particular seem to be struggling with the new players and plans around them. By Xmas we'll be sorted again.
