I will say that new ownership seems to be trying to give “commanders” a brand and intersecting with the spear, so maybe they can make it palatable. But the name will always suck.

I didn’t have a problem with it but a sports team name should never be controversial and I’m just a white dude. I was fine with moving on, but commanders was little Danny’s last indignation.
