Oddity (2024)

Gave me strong EC Comics vibes early on and the plot only reinforced that notion. Enjoyable, well shot, and atmospheric. Several jump scares but no cheap "throw a cat at the camera" jump scares.

I do listen to a lot of new music (partially for my radio show) but I'm actively searching it out w/ the hope of finding the next album that keeps me coming back, makes me buy the vinyl, & dive into more of the band's discography if I'm unfamiliar with it.

Being intentional about what you're listening to is a key point I think was going over people's heads. I started buying physical media again last year & it's reconnected me with music in a big way.

New — Video shared with me shows ICE officers in DC detaining a man on Friday.

Bystander filming asks man for his name. ICE agent lies and says he’s not allowed to speak to him “by law” and another says “We’ve arrested American citizens for being too close…If he gets any closer, put him in cuffs.”
