Went to Capitol Square in Richmond to peacefully (but loudly) protest Trump's policies and Elon's cybercoup as part of the 50501 protests (50 protests, 50 state capitals, one day)—there were about 350 of us according to a police officer whom I spoke to afterwards. Here's to the resistance!

The reason a hillbilly scholarship kid like me got a great public education at William & Mary was because they invested in teachers, not bullshit computer magic. I guess that has changed.

EXCLUSIVE: Vulnerable Republican Rob Wittman was caught fundraising at an expensive D.C. restaurant instead of doing his job to stop a government shutdown.

He also claimed Republicans were working today, but they weren’t on the floor.

If this became a weekly series, it would run longer than The Simpsons.

John Littel used to be the Rector of the Board of Visitors at William & Mary. The views he expresses in his letter also suggest how much university governing boards in Virginia actually care about free speech. (Apparently, speech can be free only if it agrees with their views.)
We watched it last night. So touching to see a character (and other members of the cast) grow and change through the years—especially some characters who are no longer on the show.
Cute, but actually, they look like crochet to me!
Me, too! I was diagnosed with Dysautonomia (probably POTS, but I haven't had the Tilt Table Test yet to confirm) after my third round of COVID. In June the Johns Hopkins POTS clinic prescribed Low Dose Naltrexone. It's been amazingly helpful! If you don't take it already, ask your doctor!
Is your kiddo on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)? This medication has been amazingly effective for my POTS symptoms, which I have been dealing with since January 2024, after I got COVID a third time.
Low Dose Naltrexone is also being explored as a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia—conditions that also result from inflammation.
I feel as though I have gotten my life back and many COVID long-haulers report the same. The Stanford Pain Clinic is looking into it as a treatment for chronic pain. Here's the recent study on its effectiveness as a treatment—worth showing to her doctor if she's not on this medication:

Wishing her better health! II've been diagnosed with post-COVID dysautonomia (most likely POTS—postural orthostatic tachycardia), which has caused chronic fatigue, dizziness, brain fog and joint pain. The Johns Hopkins POTS clinic prescribed Low Dose Naltrexone in June; it's a game-changer!
