I know this is a scary time for everyone, but the ONLY way we’re going to get through it is together. If you hear how you can support the vulnerable folks in your life, listen and take the note. Use your time, energy, voice, and money if you have the means. This obviously isn’t only an issue in the US, so, and I can’t believe I still have to say this, but stop supporting JK Rowling. She is actively using the money you give her to fund anti trans legislation in the UK and target trans women.

In your day to day life, fight back against the casual transphobia as well as the blatant transphobic rhetoric you hear. Correct people on pronoun usage or if someone deadnames someone. Uplift the trans people in your life. If you say you support trans people PROVE IT. In a tangible way.

It’s going to have real life effects and likely in the not so distant future. That means, if you haven’t already, it’s time to step the fuck up. Listen to the trans people in your life. When you spend money, research where that company spends it. When you vote, look at their voting history on bills.

I usually keep it pretty light on here, but it’s becoming increasingly terrifying to be trans in this country. As more and more of project 2025 is being implemented, more people are being vilified and more people are becoming vulnerable. The narrative being pushed is extremely calculated.
