Neither shark nor dinosaur, to my lingering disappointment. Still, on the plus side, mammals do have better music. #IStandWithStonewall

Apologies, I didn't mean that it shouldn't be done. I have had problems, and have heard from others about problems, with how GPs deal with trans issues. Hopefully just cluelessness, but not always. Their being better prepared wouldn't go amiss.
Mine lost all of its leaves in a gusty wind a few days ago, sadly, though it had a good reign. The cherry tree is looking quite splendidly orange though. Good autumn so far.
I think it could potentially affect more than 51%, as male menopause is badly under-researched. (Weirdly, for an issue that affects cis-men!) I hadn't considered that aspect, and thank you for pointing it out.
Oh, they absolutely should have the training. Ideally they'd have had it anyway. I very much like the idea of this proposed model, but I hope it isn't over-looked that GPs have been a stumbling block for many. Still are. There are many reports of existing trans patients struggling to get care now.
A Labour government would have been quite nice though. I voted Green, but I'd have been happy with Labour. I think quite a lot of us would have been quite content with what we naively assumed we'd be getting. Oh the innocence of 2024...
Completely failed to notice that bit the first time. Somehow it manages to be both blatant and strangely subtle at the same time.
Are the rats aware of the crows' interest?
GPs will need a lot of re-education though. At the moment, many of them don't seem remotely interested. Part of that probably comes through concern over government attitude, but also cost, and also what appears to be a complete lack of awareness of the entire issue.
We don't get coyotes in Britain, but I've heard stories. I'd rather not, quite honestly.
I used to be just as guilty, so can't be too mouthy. It needs to be made more of a thing though. Still reckon something like Springwatch is the best bet. But there's people out there who replace a cat as soon as it gets hit, and wonder why it happens again. Hard to suggest a polite remedy for that.
...is not the cause of pneumoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
I had that farmyard! Not the house - it was a jumble sale acquisition goodness knows how long ago. Had a rather nice little thatched cottage that went with it. Still have the cottage, but not the farmyard. Blimey, you do stir up some memories at times!
Just don't go getting agresive about it.
Yeah, I met that earlier. Rarely was an X more hastily clicked. It's like this monumental killjoy, trying to spoil all the fun.
That's a really good article, thank you. Must admit, I rather liked those shots of OR with the big white. They give an amazing sense of scale, which we don't often see. That's hardly an excuse though.
Yes. But without a trial, things are difficult. I don't know if the chance has been missed, or if it might still be possible. He's an idiot, but that's no defence. Any surviving victims ought to be given the chance to see him face charges though.
Slander! The Robin belongs at number 10. They look sweet, but they're vicious little blighters, that will peck a sparrow to death over a sunflower seed. Justice for the long-tailed tits! 😀
It's got to be difficult when it's your brother though. I don't know where we go from here without actually putting him on trial. Until then we have to assume innocence. FWIW, he is legendarily stupid. Probably easily manipulated by those seeking power. Actus reas, but no true mens rea?
Fascinating! Although from what I read at the time about Harry, he was upset because he wasn't allowed to be given security, and they also wouldn't allow him to bring his own. The head of MI5 said there had been serious threats against his son, so it was all a bit weird. Thanks for the funding info!
Wow! Had to look it up, and there's a paper called "Enigmatic and extravagant genitalia in the spider genus Mastigusa". Seems fitting. 😀
Sadly I feel that this will do more harm than good.
How lovely! And thank you for the free read, which I shall attempt to understand later. ;) It's great that you've found a way to honour somebody who sounds fascinating, and I'm sure he'd be pleased. Anything from the Ediacaran is bound to be interesting!
I suffer the same when people abbreviate dinosaur to dino. I will never not read it as if it were Dean Martin.
That's fascinating. Seems contrary to expectation too, as it suggests that the females look like males in order to avoid aggression over food sources. I would expect male on male aggression to be the norm, but perhaps hummingbird society has different rules.
