We are being gaslit 24/7 by this administration like a psycho ex and I'm so over it.

How do we divorce this abusive fuck?
Aw floof! Be a good kitty for the techs/nurse/doc overnight
I heard that it's a cis male landlord who owns an anime onesie. Where are you getting "trans female romantic partner"
@glaad.bsky.social hey do you do the Friday night wins you used to do on the bird app? I miss those

Murder is wrong. Even when the victim is a morally-repugnant political hack of the radical right.
"I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."
Also not a great look for a Star Trek actor but he's from a different series than yours
That's fair. I used to think Estelle Getty was 10+ years older than the other 3 Golden Girls
Well now where did I put my pen, paper, and a flashlight

My STLV companion is an LGBTQ ally (but not a member himself). He had the best time at the craft swap, and his crafts were all progress, trans, ace, and lesbian flags as backgrounds. One grandfather excitedly took one for his granddaughter (can't remember if it was trans or lesbian)

I would love to hear what other STLV attendees thought about representation at the convention and throughout Trek and the fandom.

Not trying to open Pandora’s box, but I am genuinely interested where the fandom stands.

This article is worth the read.

For STLV as a whole, I'm about 90% comfortable there. There will always be talent and fans that are bigots, so I just avoid their panels and fans. It's rare to have a fan visibly rude or ignorant, but admittedly I did a lot of disassociating growing up to survive, so pardon if I miss something
I adore the Lambda Quadrant (not yet on BlueSky). They are willing to address the tougher Trek questions both privately and in panels, and they include @syfysistas.bsky.social when and wherever appropriate. I wish they both had more panels at STLV, perhaps including Trek actors in the future
2025 was my 5th STLV, and I had only just chosen my new name when I went in 2021. I have always felt welcome at STLV and had no issues using the bathroom matching my correct gender (although I do recall the uncomfy time making that transition so no shade on anyone still in that position)
I am not an alcohol drinker.
If you were attending a 2-hour history walking tour that featured a whiskey flight and a wine tasting, what sorts of history things would you want to learn? Probably 5-7 stops on the tour + the 2 alcohol stops. Town is in the US, about 135 years old.

Trump wants to get rid of mail-in ballots so he can intimidate voters with federal troops stationed at the polling stations.

Hard to scare people who can just quietly mail in their votes.

Protect mail-in voting at all cost.
So amazing! Glad you could share in this moment
A lot of "whereas's" as most proclamations do, but thanking her for representing Cerritos
