Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that Link was also "blessed" with the gift to be aware of lies when they are told. So, yeah, he knows when people are lying – even if they're *really* good at it.

In order to protect his obsession. But if he *does* lie, he punishes himself heavily. He thinks that the gods will punish him if he lies, so he only does it when it's 100% necessary. Otherwise, he "lies" by omitting the truth, or twisting perspective.

Link hates liars and lying more than anything else! He believes every sin involves a lie, and therefore he hates lying. He HATES liars and takes it upon himself to teach a liar a lesson, personally. Lying to him is the quickest way to anger him.

He doesn't lie unless he absolutely HAS to, (+)

Maybe kill the part of yourself that takes it personally when someone is critical of art you love? Because A) they really are just considering the art thru their specific viewpoint and expectations, B) their experience doesn't take away from yours and C) it's fun to think critically about art u like
