Sanders had plenty of exposure and cash. Huge crowds. He lost because he didn't have support of key parts of the Dem coalition, specifically African-Americans, and that killed him in the primaries. The DNC does suck, but the DNC did not stop Sanders. He simply failed. Twice.

It was completely debunked. The teleprompters were undamaged in the shooting. According to NYT analysis, he was grazed by the first shot, and therefore his ear was not damaged by other debris or fragments.

Analysis by the NYT confirmed that Trump was struck by the first of 8 rounds fired. That suggests that it wasn't a bullet fragment that struck his ear, but that it was slightly grazed by an intact bullet.

If you banned soda from Food Stamps they'd simply argue against something else. Candy. Chocolate. Sweet cereals. Flavored yogurt. Chips. On and on and on until they just say "how about we just get rid of Food Stamps altogether? They hate poor people, end of story.

All the available evidence is that he was, in fact, grazed by a bullet and got incredibly lucky. If the shot had been a few centimeters closer to his head, he'd have been killed.
