Well, a 23 year old climber died last week. He was an up & coming alpinist from Alaska, who died on a fall in Yosemite.

I'm sure they have no need to *find a reason* to not give it to him. I do believe he'll go off on a tyrant tirade when his name is not the one announced, and that he will say wretched things about the person that is being recognized.

So difficult to know what we can trust anymore. To me, it's just as believable - no, more believable - to see the killer as a RW ideologist getting two birds with one stone as to accept what we're being told as the reality. (Kill the *enemy* while injuring the reputation of the dreaded anitifa.)
