This one is early 90s but it’s close enough. The experience of going to see this in the movies with my mom and aunt in 1993 or whatever is one of my most favorite going-to-the-movies memories ever

I didn’t tell you how this came to be: Steph’s Mom has season tickets to Wagner College’s theatre. She sees all the musicals. She just had surgery so Steph took her ticket to see Company. Despite being my best friend of 40 years, she had never heard of it. She calls me that night, VERY excited:

One time my mom took me to a production of “Assassins” in Tarrytown and she didn’t realize it was a MIDDLE SCHOOL PRODUCTION and it was actually AMAZING. The young girl who played Giuseppe Zangara was incredible.

I gave up caffeine during the early days of the pandemic. Today is the first day I’m forced back in the office. I have been here for under 10 minutes and have already made myself a cup of real coffee with caffeine in it. 😞
