It is unfortunately not the norm in many fandoms I've both been and not been in. I've had incidents in which I'd get followed by one of the ppl implied and that would mean my tweeting would forever change 😭 but other ppl did not care & would straight up tag them in the stuff

I was never a big fan but it was impossible to be on the internet in the 2010s without knowing them and the shippers. I'm glad everyone's feeling vindicated (but still feel bad about how weirdly intrussive everyone was)

Yeah I completely understand, a part of me really would like to have a clear answer. My fear is more about being more infantilized/condescended to than I already am. It happens to me and I absolutely hate it, I can't even imagine adding a perceived disability to the whole thing. People are horrible.

the "self diagnosis is a trend" bag, but I also would like to know because it would explain many things. But then also if I know I just know, I guess? I mean if those self assessments tests were graded I'd be acing them and guess when's the last time that happened... Yeah when I did the ADHD ones.

I don't have problems being a functioning member of society when working in the right environment and that it's not something you can be medicated for, there is no need for him to add more labels to me. And in a way I agree and I have hardly ever been outspoken because I fear being thrown into

I have only referred myself as ADHD so far because that's as far as I am diagnosed but after I got medicated for ADHD other things came up to the surface that tell me there's more to it. My specialist says an autism diagnosis would most likely lead to more potential discrimination and given
