My fart thought on that is potentially avoiding lawsuits. Grocery stores are tossing expired product, restaurants are tossing cold and likely bacteria ridden food.
I mention the warehouse because we're getting food before it goes on sale, and donating mostly fresh produce.
I know the warehouse I work at donates any food we don't accept for quality reasons. The only stuff we chuck into dumpsters are rejected due to dangerous recalls. Most of which were the bagged salads awhile ago that had ecoli bacteria.
And it's donated by the pallet, not individual product.
The laws requiring an injured party are there for a reason. If you can argue that Monica was a rape victim, you could prosecute literally anyone through verbal arguments alone.
Yeah I don't think that's a winning message anymore.
I'd rather they just absolutely refuse to even mention his name or use him as a scapegoat and instead talk about the problems and how they plan to solve them.
No blanket statements. Just "Hey, X is bad, I plan to fix it by doing this." R&R.
