Books I've read 2025, focusing on the fiction 📚
The threat to the real Southern heritage is other states losing their ability to say "at least we we are not Mississippi"
I thought I was going to have a meeting with my supervisor on my thesis today but I misremembered the date and it’s on Friday. Two more days of anxious waiting 😅
The Future of Nostalgia, Svetlana Boym

A non-fiction book I want to feature here, an amazing read on nostalgia combining memoir, academic historical analysis and philosophical essays. A ton of insight into human condition that made me have to put the book down and just think. Long staying power.
Look at this book, I love it ❤️
I've been a player in a Dolmenwood campaign and it's been just a blast. It's a fantasy setting, and game, inspired by British folklore and it's just beyond phenomenal. Having so much fun playing a human magic-user in a party with a knight, a woodsman, and two demi-fairies a grimalkin and a woodgrue.
What a beautiful view! 😍
Wait I have missed completely that Outer Worlds 2 did actually come out on PS5 too. That's exciting!
I hate nested nightmares where I wake up just into another nightmare. It's been like 10 years since I've had one like that but got one this night 😭Didn't get even three hours of sleep but I feel it's been hours and hours.
I always mix up Joe Pera and Joe Pesci.
I have heard some pretty good reviews for this season! I didn't see the third season, I think I probably care more on staying true to books (no value judgment here tho, just personal preferences!), but I might re-check s3 and s4 after all.
Writing nonsense like "Internalizing the loss and the absence is paradoxically what enables you to feel its virtual presence after"

I promise it makes sense in context 😭
Omgosh! Have a fun and fulfilling trip! 💙
I played Clonk Rage, and it's predecessors Clonk Endeavor and Clonk Planet, sooooo freaking much. It was _the_ game in my childhood village. It might still be in top 10 of most hours I've spent in a game.
I vaguely remember Kyrandia! I don't remember playing it, but the name is definitely familiar from Westwood catalog.
We were not meant to analyze human condition, texts were not supposed to have meaning, should we even be aware of what being a human is like

That sounds about right, I have never encountered anyone beyond my like 7th grade class who has even heard of Tibia 😅
Nooo, tactical rpg 💔(All good, we have our own different tastes)
Omg, Tibia was big in my middle-school!
Okay I have to expand on this 😅I love deckbuilding, and I love Slay the Spire, but at some point I just burned out on them. Especially, especially roguelite deckbuilders. Now I just don't find them interesting anymore :(
Words that make me lose any interest for a game:

❌FPS
❌PVP Multiplayer
❌Soulslike (if it's not FromSoft it's not for me)
❌Bullet Hell
❌Roguelike/Roguelite
❌Deckbuilder
