If the Government were really at all interested in digital safeguards, instead of punishing every adult with mandatory age checks and digital ID, banning companies like TikTok from operating in the UK would do far more good, and protect peoples data.

I've half filled a 18tb drive in 2 weeks after cancelling all streaming services.

English can be learned, but I think there is a ridiculous amount of nuance when you grow up with it that is frankly impenetrable

That isn't to say you shouldn't try though.. most of us are idiots that barely speak one language let alone two.

This is facile nonsense though.. the people paying you will expect the enhanced productivity to be baked into your cost.
So setting off a prompt and fucking off an hour isn't reality.

They expect 58 minutes of more productivity for the same cost.

Still a two step process though.
Test develop/release, test feature/fix branch then compare Sonar outputs - but certainly easier than manual testing..

As it is, we just use Selenium locally against a target environment and compare results against the last develop run and any requirements change

We tried to get Selenium up and running on Team City which would then be read by Sonar
The idea being you could do full e2e integration via headless UI testing before approving for release

Too much of a pain in the arse though... could never get the virtual Chromium instance running right

I don't know why, but it makes me unbearably sad realising that all of the Low Roar tracks in Death Stranding 2 are all posthumous after the troupe leads death

It adds a real weight to a game that features a protagonist eventually coming to terms with loss, grief and trauma

How sustainable are you finding this?
Personally if my engineering efforts were reduced to finessing someone else's vibe code, I'd quit in a heartbeat.

Not trying to be hyper critical or anything, but that would feel like going from a lead engineer to a code babysitter for a middle manager

The net sum of it for me is that it lets me be lazy when I want to be lazy, and not lose a whole lot of time.. Overall though, holistically, it's costing me time because of having to review shit generated code that doesn't follow established patterns from more junior devs

Even if you ask it to constrain things generically via type<T>, it does a shite job of actually outputting anything of use.

If it gets us 50% of the way there, I call that a win and a minor efficiency boost
I'm glad to see more devs are seeing the limitations though. We're the voices that matter

The biggest issue I'm finding at the moment is generated code is atomic. It has no wider context of patterns and practices and doesn't give a shit about re-use.. so it's basically a cheap bloated way of generating a sub optimal solution to a problem that probably needs solving in a generic fashion
