Inflation was 2.6% in October 2024 yet the information environment- which included GOP constant lying about prices - said otherwise. There was a post pandemic shock but it was over. The numbers didn’t lie. So what was it? Information - and not much of it was accurate but a lot was scaremongering.

He hasn’t helped Ukraine yet and he holds this deep seated hatred because he got caught trying to shake Ukraine down which resulted in the first impeachment. So, he never will. Plus, he’s as deeply shitty as anyone you’ve ever dealt with in your life.

Except the default for almost every mainstream pundit is to put everything in the horse race context. Factual considerations, impact on the population and whether a politician is lying all seem to take a back seat to "how is this playing?" Dems over reliance on polling is an artifact of this.

Has it really hurt them much over the last 15 years to lie about the ACA and health care generally? No, it hasn’t and until we have a media to call them out on crap like this and enough Dems to call a lie a lie this sort of crap will continue indefinitely.

Why wouldn’t he lie about it? Has he paid a price for any lying? Legacy media still can’t bring themselves to say he lies on the regular and if Dems had set that as their theory against him long ago, he could be hit with it every time. But for some reason Dem leaders can’t just call him a liar.
