When I saw the 1986 release wave picture with Metroplex on the back of the box I was hit by a wave of nostalgia so powerful I had to sit down, lol

I think they quite often use 3P stuff for free market research - which turnabout is fair play I guess - they just used to be able to offer a much cheaper alternative 😭😭😭

Turns out they're developing a LARP version of everyone's favorite TTRPoeG, so soon you'll be able to brick up your friends and pine after your attractive but sickly cousins in real life, too

Apparently there's some sort of game attached to this photo mode, but I guess we'll never know

Because the rest of the time is spent playing wacky and wonderful indie games, when it comes to playing my one (1) AAA game of the year I don't feel too bad about just rolling around in how expensive and polished it all is, lol

It's incredible that this finally exists 😭😭😭

It genuinely feels like an era-specific piece of design in the way that a modern pastiche wouldn't have been able to capture

See, there we go; Loki spins right out of Endgame and opens up all the multiverse stuff that follows right from the start, while WandaVision is a little way into the aftermath but before anybody's got their shit back together

"'Our algorithm would not have pushed his content so aggressively had we known that he was also grooming his young fans to join his underground bear-baiting ring,' lied YouTube Head of Communications Hieronymus Windowsill"

"Squigglyfloop - real name Raymond Venables - streamed eight hours of Minecraft and extreme ethnonationalism a day to an audience with an average age of twelve; he earned more money last year than did the last three generations of your family"
templephoenix.bsky.social
The thing about being moderately online is that I only ever learn about YouTubers when they do something unbelievably heinous; whenever I look they always have 50 million subscribers and thousands of comments saying "noooo not Squigglyfloop, he was my entire childhood" and I'm like
it is me, the confused Pikachu

TBH I think AM&tW works either way around, although this way makes the post-credits a "wtf just happened" rather than an "oh no"

So mixed results for doing a chronological pre-Endgame run, although I'm expecting the post-EG stuff to be more drastically and positively affected by shuffling it around

I bought a bag of pretzels to snack on at work today and I didn't notice that they were the festive Christmas tree-shaped ones

I'M PART OF THE PROBLEM, GUYS 😭😭😭

Missing Link Cordon as one of those rocket-powered police cars we've all heard about Missing Link Cordon as - holy shit - ge was one of those Transformers all along

This was waiting for me when I got back home yesterday and if you're wondering why your favourite obscure character isn't statted up, I want you to know that it's because I *personally* made sure that those pages were used to include all the members of A-Next instead

You're WELCOME.

God, I am so ready for this dig to be done this week, I am incredibly sick of the sound of rain on tarpaulin 😩😩😩

Can't wait to spend the rest of the year sitting in my silly little lab running tests and blasting retrowave

Embarking on a reread of what is probably still my favorite fantasy series and I appreciate how up-front it is about the type of reader it's aimed at

I think a lot of folks will see the 92-character Dramatis Personae at the start and justifiably say "oh, fuck OFF," saving themselves a lot of time
