I know these things happen...it's just I never expected it'd happen to me, someone who is VERY attentive as a driver. I'll probably do something for my bday on stream this coming week. This week, I just couldn't. Thanks everyone for being there for me and the bday wishes in the meantime~ 💜

I'm back home safely with my car. I can work, and thankfully, won't be paying any out of pocket costs for the repair. That said, I won't ever be going fast, even within speed limits, through dark woodsy areas anymore around here. That was just...too mentally distressful.

They got back to me fairly quickly...and thankfully, I had full coverage for it. I felt physically ill for most of the week, so it wasn't until today (Friday) that I brought it into the shop for their assessment. They fixed the dent free of charge for now, and I have an appt on Nov 3rd.

Just...more stuff to make my already difficulty situation worse, I guess...just another tuesday (sunday). I already felt terrible about the deer. Now I had vehicle damage to assess.

The next day, I filed the claim, took the photos and sent it to state farm.

I felt hollow inside...that my vehicle under my control ended the life of a wild animal. I immediately ended my shift and went home...it was a 30 minute drive. So far from home.

I found out then that my car sustained some damage too. The door wouldn't open the whole way.

This Sunday, they sent me far from my normal routes...into a very wilderness heavy area with narrow roads. A deer sprinted in front of me. This was probably the scariest and most upsetting moment of my life. I had no words. After the initial shock I had to pull over and just...reflect.

I want to talk about this week, and why I was pretty quiet on my bday. 🧵

So I've been out of it for a few weeks. Just...kinda getting by (but not really - I have a looming bill I need to pay ASAP). Doing doordash when I can to accrue some semblance of financial security.

Starting next Wednesday, I'll be doing a Subathon leading up to my affiliaversary on October 3rd! I'll be playing Outer Wilds, followed by back-to-back Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and KHII (which will be Lvl 1 Critical if chat wants to torture me), with lots of art giveaways~

By the way I saw the texts. Those were ABSOLUTELY crafted by an LLM AI like Chat GPT. Notice how it's intricately capitalized, weirdly poetic and just plain CRINGE. There is absolutely 0% chance a real person who was on a mission to kill someone wrote that.

I know I've barely been streaming these past few weeks~

I've just been very stressed out about funds. I've been dashing almost every night, though I've found that if it's not the weekend, it's almost not worth going. I just onboarded with Grubhub though, so we'll see how it goes for weekdays.
