ngl i always kinda roll my eyes at sm64 remake concepts that just do the original maps 1:1 at a higher res, cuz the original was so informed by the n64’s specs it inevitably feels barebones lol. Get silly with it

Peacetime variant. The barbed wire fences have been replaced with wooden posts, flowers replace the craters and the trench has a river going through it. The weather is bright and sunny.

honestly now im wondering whether DS Bob Omb Battlefield being so desaturated was to sell the battlefield part harder, cept it couldnt go all the way because it had to abide the original's framework. None of the other levels in it have that drastic of a style change.
