Canadian Trekkie, Pegasister, stage and historical costume maker, mother of Minty Root. She/her/hers. The original character I use as profile picture was designed for me by my son. Her name is Okaasan Mendingheart and she is a cute pegasus.

In that episode, for a brief moment we see Q kissing a servant in the castle while passing near a table. Would you happen to know who she is?
Welcome to Canada, Sir. May your sojourn be peaceful and invigorating. And thank you to the Star Trek team for choosing Canada as filming location. We are honoured.
At this time of the year, the magic hour lasts ... half an hour. 😂
Last week on TNG, in the episode when Riker and others had been abducted by aliens during the night, Riker was recommended a recipe of warm milk so he could sleep better. His nose wrinkled when he tasted it. 🤣
Ce genre de reportage m'impressionne toujours. Surtout de savoir que le lait d'amande n'est pas une invention récente.
Thank you for bringing me to the ComicCon and helping me around the house! We had a blast!
According to Wikipedia, today is Beverley Crusher's Day, character being born on October 13th. At the Québec ComicCon last weekend, actress Gates McFadden reminded us of this fact. An amazing actress.
Yesterday at the Québec ComicCon we had the wonderful surprise of discovering that Gates McFadden speaks an excellent French. She and John De Lancie delighted the crowd with filming anecdotes and facts. They were both kind and took time to answer questions from the crowd. A wonderful day...
We probably wouldn't! But we had so much fun today!!!!
As long as it's not the same stuff they serve at the Weihnachtsmarkt... Poor Balok would have had the hangover of his life... 🤣
Rewatching ST Discovery Season 3. Episode when Philippa Georgiou meets Carl, the Guardian of Forever, and crosses the threshold to the Mirror Universe.
Carl makes me think a lot of Jenkins, in the Librarians.
The language, manners and gestures.
Maybe it comes with the profession of guarding forever.
Well, maybe it's a medical Martini! 😊 The no-dressing sickbay version. 🤣
Worked hard over the last days to sew a mid-18th Century corset, totally boned (86!!!). Made with a slightly modified JPRyan sewing pattern, partly sewn by machine and partly by hand. Made of linen, with buckram interlining. Made it with front lacing because chambermaids are pretty hard to find.
Rewatching Star Trek TNG episode "Half a Life" with the amazing David Ogden Stiers and Majel Barrett.
I'll be 60 next year.
It hits closer to home than expected.
I rewatched tonight Star Trek Discovery. I love that show so much...
I hope to see as many of the original actors as guest stars in the upcoming series Star Trek Academy.
They are all dear to my heart.
These scenes show how strong she is. Personally, if my own son was suddenly disappearing, I'd lose my mind completely. She kept her wits, was still able to think and to try and find a solution. That's bravery.
Awesome TV series. The joy of my childhood, along with Star Trek.
I was wondering if the reference to the "ley lines" was a wink to The Librarians, since Rebecca Romijn plays amazing characters in both series and Lindy Booth played a character as guest star in the first season.
In French, we use the word "thalassothérapie" to talk about a spa treatment involving sea water.
Going there would be soooo awesome! I have a friend in Denmark that I could finally meet, after all those years.
My son Minty brought me back a wonderful present from the Everfree convention.
A sleeping mask featuring Fluttershy eyes, from the amazing boutique of artist Gleamy.
What a beautiful mask! I love Fluttershy so much!!!
Now, with the mask, I can give people "the stare", just like Fluttershy!
OMG! It's been a long time since I laughed outloud like this, until my ribcage hurted. Tonight's Strange New Worlds was hilarious. I don't care if it's canon or not, or if Gene Roddenberry would have approved the episode. It was funny like hell and I enjoyed it!!! Superb performance of the actors!
