On the plus side, that means that I have successfully brought back #biodiversity to the cement yard.

My once hard as a rock, clay cement dirt, is now turning into black gold soil I can plant in.

I have sown a cover crop of red clover in one spot that's more shaded and pea/oat combo in another.

It's like going from one extreme to the other.
Having no internet, to having all the internet and being chronically online.
I do think balance will eventually be a part of the conversation. Even if forced by censorship, nonstop ads, surveillance, and AI slop.

I am curious to see what we birth from this. A generation that knew life before the internet, but also helped create it, and now will walk away and watch it die.

When you see people saying "TikTok is boring" or "Meta isn't fun anymore"... it's because we stopped creating. At least online.

More and more of us are disillusioned with all of it.

So many creators are just completely walking away.
Our whole life has been making people laugh, inspire, educate, etc. Whether for fun or for funds.

Capitalism even ruined the "social" aspect of social media.

I really do think we're about to see the death of the internet. At least in the way that we know it.

Us millenials saw its creation, invested heavily in content creation, and gave birth to influencers aka capitalism + internet platforms.

Everyone made fun of me and called me gma because I was still collecting dvds and hard copies of things.

Which is also why I never "bought" digital books or movies because I knew at some point they could just take it away.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I would absolutely say she was/is performative.
She also has ZERO idea who she is. She 100% centers men, and women who center men to the point they become a completely different person, haven't deconstructed.
Which means she can't be a true or trusted ally.

I tend to go even harder into hermit mode in the darker half of the year.
Resting, but also clearing old energy and prepping for the new.

I have had some downloads recently as I've cleared some blockages! 😻🙏✨

Starting to plant my own seeds for the spring so to speak.

I'm still alive.

I've just been getting the garden ready for fall which is our second growing season here in TX.

Strawberries are going in for a head start in the spring.

All the lettuces and onions are going indoors.

Plants and trees that need chill hours are also up on deck.

I have to admit, I was raised by paranoid boomer grandparents.

Therefore I have always had a complicated relationship with tech.

But one thing I never did in all the time of having phones is use the facial or finger scan. It never sat right with me.

If they want it, I'm not making it easy.

Abbott just said he's going to be sending in DPS, state troopers, etc in basically for a blitz to "combat repeat offenders" and if the "goes well" they plan to do it in other cities like Dallas and Austin.
