Example: we have J, YA, and adult manga. You can tell what they are by what they have on their labels. Do some things get mis shelved? Yes! But it rarely stays in the wrong place for long. 2. Publishers also have age guides!

LRP, I have a lot of thoughts about banned books, especially bad actors who come in saying things like something explicit is in the kid's section. 1. No, unless a selector is terrible at their job this does not happen. Most libraries have very different labels to show what shelf a book goes on.
