The point is still valid. We’re able to do most of the things we did before because the vaccine has been a huge success, so let’s definitely not keep that kind of research going.
It’s okay! I got it from the library! (And there is a separate Lonely Planet Madeira/Azores book that I’ve already read online through the library. I was being greedy hoping for more.)
The library is the best! Today I picked up my hold, the Lonely Planet Portugal book, and I was surprised to see that it doesn’t include Madeira at all. Boy would I be frustrated if I’d spent money on it and it didn’t even have anything about the place I’m planning a trip to.
It’s an interesting article about the evolution of album sales versus listening online and how that affects the economics of being a musician. I love Taylor but wish she didn’t feel the need to engage so much in the commercialization.
And I’m saying “leave her alone” is unnecessary when all they’re saying is that her album comes in multiple versions designed to induce people (many of whom probably can’t really afford it) to buy multiple copies.
Surely you recognize that some chunk of those record-breaking sales numbers are the same people (many of whom probably don’t even own a record player) buying multiple versions of the album. That’s all the article is saying.
We’re very close to living in a society where the haves will travel internationally to get vaccines, foreign goods, medical care, etc., and the have nots…just won’t have access to those things.
