But about three months ago, something unexpected happened. I lost my old newsletter account. I didn’t realise until later that a few people had been consistently marking my emails as spam. It came as a shock, especially after sending newsletters regularly for nearly six years.

In all these years, I’ve never had a disagreement or conflict with anyone in the astrology community. I’ve only tried to be supportive wherever I could, and I’ve often shared and spoken positively about others’ work openly on social media.

In 1459 CE, while Jupiter and Saturn were forming an Earth trine, Rao Jodha Rathore, one of the Rajput chiefs decided to move his capital to a hilltop in Jodhpur. Centuries later, I found myself there chasing a medieval Sanskrit astrological manuscript under the same configuration in the sky.
