My first day here I walked 6 km along the beach to fight off jet lag and I eventually ended up in the woods. I walked aimlessly for another hour before remembering I had to buy a second suitcase. So I then walked from the woods to the luggage store. Then I dragged the new suitcase back to my hotel 💀

I flew from Edinburgh to Toronto and then from Toronto to Vancouver, then I walked six kilometers along the beach because I could no longer understand what time zone I was in and I didn’t want to be alone with my thoughts.

I try not to fall into the mental trap of stereotypes but you guys I’ve been here all of 24 hours and I have already been apologized to more times than I ever have in my life. I accidentally dropped my charger in someone else’s seat and she said sorry as she handed it back to me.
