Anyways this is NOT me hated on the kids!! It's a complicated feeling of being proud of them being so good at their age and me lamenting myself not working as hard as them when I was their age.

"Why not work hard now?" Kinda hard when there's AI showing me my work will never be enough

Well I guess they dont call it "passion" for nothing. "Passion" comes from the Latin root for "suffer" 😭

[Small vent bc I'm in the pits yet again]

Whenever I see an artist younger than me, especially teenagers, with professional-level art, I think to myself, "damn what the fuck am I doing with my life? I'm wasting/wasted my time"

But at the same time, I still cant put down my pen. Am I a masochist
