I grew up with TMNT. Had every action figure, clothing, everything possible for them. Collecting Marvel trading cards is what got me into MtG in 1994. I literally owe my enjoyment of Magic to Marvel comics. And yet I *STILL* don’t want TMNT or Marvel in Magic: the Gathering. As much as I love them.

The thing is, you can enjoy the taste of the poison killing you.

Sales numbers and the ecstacy of some isn’t an indicator of health — especially not in the long term of the game.

The slop rhetoric is ridiculous. But plenty of serious convos are being had about the flood of Universes Beyond.

This would’ve been absolutely amazing in my Commander Cube. Why does it have to be in a non fantasy adjacent Universes Beyond card? 😩 (Same with Impostor Syndrome from the Spider-Man set)
