Hoping my Mariners fan friends live the dream (sweep every series, win world championship, pop champagne as meteor erases humanity, die on top and freed from Mariners baseball forever)

Love the game result but now frantically hitting refresh on the umpire scorecard.

Same. I’d like another part simply because the History of the Seattle Mariners keeps happening and there are so many great characters and stories from the last five years. Winning, as always, has nothing to do with it.

Ms kicked ass
Huskies won
Seahawks kicked ass
9er lost badly
Ms kicked Jays teeth in
Yay Sports!

Yeah, for sure. I like to think people don’t believe that, but I’m sure it would get addressed if Bois did another part.

Dave Stieb eventually threw his no-hitter.

Nah.

The point isn’t that winning is bad, it’s that it’s irrelevant. Even if they win, all the things that make the Mariners (and sports in general) so weird and fascinating are still there.

The Mariners take relentless at-bats. They're the best kinds of pests. Jorge Polanco, the walk-off hero of Game 5 of the ALDS, just knocked in his second run of the night. It's the eighth, Seattle leads 3-1 and the Mariners continue to threaten in Game 1 of the ALCS.

Oh they got the Canadian brand version of Jack Flaherty in the bullpen?
