Felt very jarring to me because who putzes around for 2 years when something that mission critical is unresolved, and I forgot about the prophecy about regretting not going, but regretting going even more because certainly losing your dad, and finding your mom in that state could break a person

I think it was a super sharp deviation in tone for me because everything happening at the academy was so fucking goofy.

I agree about Rudy already being on a mission to find his family, but he took like two years off while at the school so the way in which he was rudely reminded about his purpose

One of my goals this year was to get into the community and volunteer.

Im just starting but I’m very proud of myself for doing just that.

It’s one thing to talk about helping your local community and it’s another to actually do it.

Start volunteering at your local food pantries or shelters. Especially around the holidays. Donate to these organizations as well!
