Interesting idea. I have a painter friend who is writing a book about “Painting Mexico” which includes maps and painting locations. His name is Jack Hannula. Don’t think he’s on Bluesky, but he’s on the other sites.
Every time I’m riding the bus to the grocery here in San Miguel de Allende, I see this place out the window. Finally got around to painting it. Good thing, as it has closed permanently.
Painted at the Lavaderos del Chorro, next to Parque Benito Juárez, in San Miguel de Allende this afternoon. The bougainvilleas might need some touchups after it dries a bit, but this 8x10” oil is what I came away with.
