My 2 generations old Samsung tablet (Tab S9+) received the Android 16 update before my Xiaomi 15 Ultra and OnePlus 13 (CN) 👀

That was definitely not expected.
Xiaomi definitely needs to work on their stock apps. Especially the gallery. HyperOS is the only Android skin that I installed and used third-party apps to substitute default system apps such as clock, file explorer, and gallery.
Did you know that #HyperOS doesn't support Android predictive back gestures even on Android 15? I certainly didn't know until I bought a phone from Xiaomi in 2025...
Hot takes of 2025:
- Curved displays look and feel better and elevate the phone.
- Flat design is good. It is clean, modern and good looking.
- Unibody metal chassis is better than glass in every aspect (except wireless charging which I don't care about).

I guess that's all for now 🤔
It would be nice to use my camera once in a while. I don't know what's going on but the battery drain is insane when I'm using the cameras on my #Xiaomi15Ultra
Recap of iPhone Air:
- Single camera
- Single speaker
- 3149 mAh battery
- Basically non existent cooling
- No physical SIM
- USB 2.0

1200€... 💀
I have to praise the design team of Apple. This is truly a unique and a recognizable design. #iPhone17Pro
I miss HTC more than ever
Samsung is the only company that strips features every year while raising (or keeping) the price. If you're selling the most expensive Android phones/tablets, you should be the BEST, not the WORST!
I feel like none of the "I'm not interested in this topic" or "Don't show me similar content" buttons are working for me. X, Reddit, Bluesky, Instagram all... To be fair they never worked to begin with but it feels worse. Is it just me? On the bright side, I reduced my screen time 🫠
Today while I was doing some testing I encountered something interesting. Even though both OnePlus 13 and S25 Ultra use the same chipset, on Geekbench AI S25 Ultra was outperforming the OnePlus 13. I did the test multiple times and results were consistent. Peculiar indeed 🤔
Here is a recap of the new Pixel 10 Pro:
- Poor display PWM
- Poor StB ratio
- Average cameras
- Extremely poor chipset performans (on a par with 3/4 years old flagships)
- Most of the software features are not available outside of US
- Poor battery

1300€ 💀 #Pixel10Pro
OnePlus: We want the most basic weather app that you can possibly make.

Devs: Say no more fam:
Can we please include the camera lenses while we are talking about a phone's thickness? I don't care if a portion of your phone is 2mm if the camera sticks out a centimeter... 🙄
A new video is incoming 😏
Now Bar is my favorite UI feature of the past couple of years. Nice thinking Samsung!
With the #OneUI8 beta 2, they removed the predictive back gesture again. The lock screen widget size returned to the previous size. So what exactly changed? Slim border around icons and simple app updates? An update for the sake of being an update..
People complain about how ugly the transparent look is, but I love it. It's not a simple transparency and blur; they basically simulate refraction. Also, this level of animation is something Android can only dream of. This might be the first time I am jealous of iOS as an Android user. #iOS26
One thing about #OneUI8 I didn't realize before is that the S25 Ultra now supports LOG recording with the front camera. I don't know if this is true for non-Ultra phones.

If you want to learn more about the LOG format, I found a nice article:

If you are curious about every single detail of the new #OneUI8 beta, I definitely suggest you watch my video :)
