Completed Act II in about one hour. A close call, as I defeated the Collector at 2 hp.

I had a blast, and the strength build with demonic form is huge!

Played Slay the Spire: a learning session first where I got acquainted with the transposition from video to board game.

I immediately started the real run then and completed Act I, saved the game and forgot to take pictures because I was too immersed in the game.

I loved it so much!

I only played solo but I think it is very close to what it feels in multiplayer.

That said, I found it a crunchy optimization puzzle, very tight economy. It may feel unforgiving to some extent but very rewarding when you get your head around it.

Someone defined it a ‘lighter Lacerda-style’ game…

It might be just a matter of instinct/muscle memory, whenever I get my hand of card, I automatically start arranging them, like in autopilot mode :D

One of the reasons I love board games so much is that they are more than a past time. There are moments when #boardgames can be a much needed comfort, a safe place. This is what happened to us a couple of days ago.

Played my first game of Salton Sea against the bot. Won by 10 points. I love this crunchy optimization puzzle!
