Something I just noticed in pokemon is that the female ice trainers are significantly harder fights than the male ice trainers. Wulfric, Pryce, Grusha and brycen are complete pushovers while Lorelei, Candice(platinum) and Glacia are genuinely difficult battles (melony is ok).
