🌱 Purposefully timed the planting and growing of these dark purple carrots to be able to harvest some of them and make a carrot cake for April's birthday this weekend. Should result in a purple carrot cake. More pics to come later today. #zone9A #pdx

🌱 Popcorn Progress Day 177. It popped! And it's delicious! Finally felt like the ears were dry enough such that I could shuck them by hand. Shucked a test ear and popped the kernels. I just put a sprinkling of Jacobsen Salt Co. Kosher Salt on it and we swear there is a buttery flavor. #zone9A #pdx
