Are you referring to shade smoothing? I usually do that but I mostly just use Blender as reference for layout, proportions and shadow placement.

I think it's a matter of intention. I use Blender as an auxiliary to my regular art, and it's a great tool for that, but the peril comes when I'm presented with a problem that I don't necessarily need to solve for my purposes, but I feel like it's within reach, and I can't let it go.

Since I first embarked on this whole NSFW art journey a couple years back, I've had it in the back of my mind that I'd like to refine my artistic voice by integrating speculative future technology into the mix. Now that I'm starting to get the hang of rigging in Blender, expect more robot stuff.
