At the age of fourteen, he was granted permission to enrol at the Ecole Horlogère de Paris (the Paris Watchmaking School) by the director of the school as the normal entrance age was 15.

He's doing well, the plan to house his collection in a Museum is still the plan, the hopes are that it will happen 2026/2027 in Biel/Bienne Switzerland. I will keep you informed.

Mr Léchot saved many tools from being scrapped from an era that saw no further use, (long time ago). He put them away to one day fix them up... that day came... check out his amazing collection.
