It's not just Dr. Feelgood, The Cult 90s Metallica. If you haven't heard his work with Our Lady Peace, Bush (OMG🤯), The Offspring...it's clear why he works with artists repeatedly throughout their careers: they just sound at their absolute best.

I've been soaking up as much knowledge & as many secrets as I can find about how Bob Rock makes records. I've learned so much, but maybe the best part has been just going through his discography & discovering how every artist he records, whether they are big or small, sounds sonically incredible.

with the boost setting on the FZ300, which also allows me to sculpt the bass and presence. I'd like to add an actual EQ pedal for extra tightness in the low end, but for now it's working really great.

I had been using amp sim+cab sim for some time, but I just wasn't super happy with the tone, especially for recording. So recently I've been using just the cab sim into a preamp, and crunching it up with my pedals. Currently, I'm using the Golden Plexi II as my drive, then using a cleanish boost

I ordered a custom 12 foot bench press bar. It's 70lbs, and it has a 6 month turnaround time for delivery.

Robert Patrick is amazing in the X-Files, & Annabeth Gish's Agent Reyes is a super interesting foil for Scully, who never really seems to like or respect other women on her level, especially if they are both capable and feminine. Reyes is the soft badass that Scully can't seem to find in herself.

Hmm, IMO 2-5 stays really strong throughout with only a handful of missteps. The mytharc starts to crack a bit in 6, but the writing & production go up a notch post-movie. People hate on 7-9, but Robert Patrick is SO good, & Gillian shines because she's not overshadowed by Mulder.

It's called "Marji Kleinjan" & tells the really stupid story of a girl (not Terri Roberts) who wants to be friends with Marji Kleinjan so she can get rid of Scully and make Mulder fall in love with her. 😅 It's really dumb.
