One interesting thing about Asimov is that he was far-sighted enough to be clearly anti-racist, while still remaining incredibly sexist (with the sexism in his works in some ways seeming to get worse rather than improving as he got older).

I've got a copy of a convention scenario you wrote, hanging around somewhere!

I've been planning to HG this "at some point" for years and years now.

You can resist!

It's not very good value *for you.* You've got your ideal game in the genre, and don't like the mechanics of this one.

(This is an attempt to help - I hope it didn't come across as snark.)

Definitely - OOC I definitely wanted to see what happened.

Probably the most amusing choice though!

That was a really fun game! I still worry about that teleporter...

I love it - probably the most *fun* of any of the Culture novels.

Yes, definitely makes sense there as well. Maybe even more so.

For RuneQuest I'd replace stats with runes.

What I'd do personally is shorten the skill list, and get rid of stats. But I'm just me.

Yuck and yep - that's also me not playing it GMing Savage Worlds from now on. My tolerance for the far right and far right enablers is nil.

Thank-you!

Now my turn. You should buy it. It's good. My attempt at an OSR-adjacent RPG involving exploration and factions, focused on a multiworld Empire with an evil at its heart.

The system is based on something familar, but flavoured to suit the setting, especially when it comes to characters.

Just wanted to sa a hearty thanks to all who donated to the fund that Dr Mitch set up for me after my recent health scare. Love you all! ❤️

It's a slightly niche thing, which to me is a little odd. A historical setting, possibly with some appropriate supernatural elements, on average is more interesting to me personally than a fantasy setting.

Though I'm not complaining - I can usually find players.

As a player, I feel like if I'm rolling d12 for something, I rock. And it probably goes back to AD&D. d12 plus bonus Hit Points per level - you can't get any tougher. d12 plus bonus damage - wahey, I can beat you, giant.

Savage Worlds and Cortex give me that thrill - wahey, this trait is awesome.

The blues are inherently cool, and Resonators are both cool by themselves and perfect for blues.

I have a resonator ukulele I'll show off, which may qualify as ironically cool. ;)
