To start out, I'm planning to have this account be a backup of my FFXIV tumblr sideblog. As on there, expect a lot of Fordola/Lyse fangirling (including gposes and fanfic when I'm up to it), as well as some fancy anime cosplay glams I do with my Lalafell main, Alice!

Just one fic this week, I'm afraid! I've been busy trying out the new Deep Dungeon. Might not get around to a fic next week either - my real life is getting busier AND I got inspired for another cosplay I want to finish before Halloween. 😅

This year, October 4th and 5th fall on a weekend, the same as in 1986 when the visual novel Umineko no naku koro ni takes place! As such, today I'm taking a break from fanfic to do a glam of one of its most infamous characters!

Even between bsky weirdness and AO3 being down, I still haven't missed a weekend yet...! 😄

Anyway, the theme of this week is ultra rare pairs. These two fics were intended as a way to challenge myself - they're characters and dynamics I don't often write!

By the way, I made two versions of the pose, the above to share along with the fic link, and this one, which gives away the reveal. 😉

As the three exit the council meeting chambers in the Royal Palace of Ala Mhigo, Lyse suddenly smiles awkwardly and backs away as Raubahn and M'naago turn to each other in confusion.

…If you look closely, Lyse's eyes are green rather than her normal blue. A faint, semi-transparent shade of Fordola can be seen over her left shoulder, shaking her head in frustration at Lyse's fumbling attempts to conceal what's really going on.

For this fic, I had not one, not two, but SIX images! That didn't even fit in a single bsky post, so here's the rest of the Krile fashion showcase :3

Krile looks down, examining Tataru's fourth attempt: a gloomy black ensemble consisting of pieces of the Deepshadow set as well as the mask and hood from the Scion Traveler set. Tataru shyly kicks at the ground behind her - she was trying to express that she understand how painful Krile's life has sometimes been.

Krile and Tataru pose and twirl together, showing off Tataru's fifth creation: a gown decorated with tiny fragments of the Mothercrystal, and a headpiece crafted from an Elpis flower. (The outfit is actually a mix of Hypostatic gear pieces, including the Casting cloak.)

Tataru goes back to the basics for her final attempt: a yellow jacket with a cat-eared hood just like the Cloak of Nine Lives given to Krile by her grandfather. (This is, of course, the outfit Krile wears during Dawntrail.) And Krile loves it! She and Tataru pose triumphantly, with Krile testing out her new Pictomancy brush.
