Pokemon is weird. It is a solo RPG pet simulator with competitive pvp combat. It appeals to multiple groups that dont want what the other group wants. The argument over leaks has happened with every pokemon release since the internet became prominent, and it will continue with every future release.

If a game has a prominent gimmick, previews should show just enough to demonstrate the gimmick and leave the rest for the player to discover.

No? Mario wonder didn't show every wonder flower transformation in its previews. Donkey kong Bananza didnt show snake or elephant bananza in its previews. Borderlands doesn't list every gun before launch. Meroidvanias aren't going to tell you every single pickup/powerup in the trailers.
