I don't think the neck was intentional. I think he was shot at center mass. Shooters hopped up adrenaline or less practiced jerk the trigger and pull the shot to the right. I think it was almost a miss.

I got to take my wife out too. That's her mid shot hitting a tank hull just at a mile away.

I've had the privilege of shooting some of the military's dedicated long range weaponry like the Mk13 MOD 7, Barrett MRAD, and the Barrett M107. I'm still an iron sight snob for mid range rifles, and agree. That looked a lot like a basic .223 or 5.56, I guess we'll find out more as it comes out.

Wait, so the previously reported "shooter in custody" was just a person of interest, and we're back to suspect at large territory?

Jokes aside, it's likely that this was nearly a miss. Shooter was likely aiming for his head. A common mistake in hobby shooters is jerking the trigger which pulls the shot down and to the right.

Yea, one of the vids they were fireman carrying him to an SUV with him limp. I'm sure he was gone seconds after that neck shot. Honestly not a bad way to go if you have to die by gunshot. Your brain drains of blood so fast you likely don't process pain for long.

From looking at the multiple angles of the shot, the way it tore into his neck, it looked like a rifle round. Just my speculation. People from the high ground shot looked to the right as well, making me think it was likely a rifle based on range alone.

I'm talking about an old school M-16A2 battle axe, although my fav of all time was from my final deployment: the GUU-5/P or CAR 15 Commando. It was the spiritual predecessor to the M4.

A headshot at 200 yards is iron site territory for most people with even the slightest bit of training and a touch of acumen. - source three tour combat vet.

Where is this mans chin?!

Lol, tell me you're a moron in one bumper sticker or less: bro has a "guns save lives" sticker and nothing else on his truck citing a .org as evidence.

I'm at Cracker Barrel eating all day breakfast with the racists trying to find the one noose they hide on every Cracker Barrel wall among the antique portraits, dusty baseball gloves and gas station signs.

I gave up my body & my mind for my country and then my marriage and what did I get? Total irredeemable devistation on all fronts. I didn't even get the genetic do-over of kids. Our line dies with us. The "winners" didn't learn a thing and are losing worse than I will and we all get to suffer. Fuck!

I lost my sister today in 2018, she was the reason I introduced myself to my wife and her now deceased brother. My love is a constant reminder of mortality and loss but also the only thing I have to hold onto both of them. It's a wonderful and wretched thing.

Omg, m so glad he's still keeping you safe and company!!! I was offline for sanity reasons and the little dude abides! Give him a treat and tell him it's from Joe!

Most armies march on their stomachs. An army of rapists marches on something else from their epidemic homeland...

Trump administration incompetence and it's leaks are an ally at this point. Mad appreciation for Whiskey Pete and his drunk late night Signal tbh. May the curse ever be in democracies favor. Fuckin moron.

Despite my greatest efforts, my depression seems to be working in a pack and we had a Jurassic Park "Clever girl" situation tonight and it got the best of me. Now I'm crying in bed with the dogs alone at 4am.

I'm glad I have friends like you to reach out to when I'm like this.

I find myself totally exhausted on every level.

This isn't the country I fought for.

This isn't the woman I married.

This isn't the life I wanted.

I know I'm not alone, but I couldn't feel more so.

Shitshow # 9972. JD just looks like he's watching to see if gramps is gonna fuck up. Whiskey Pete looks like he's actively shitting himself. Marco looks like he lost his soul and his ears have somehow grown bigger. Donnie looks like he finally actually memorized a speech while getting us into WW3...
The worlds biggest baby gives an address after kicking off World War 3. Donnie John Trump, the current orange faced president of America speaks from a pulpit flanked by Marco Rubio who he has insulted publicly repeatedly, Pete "Day Drinker" Hegseth stands by looking concerned, all under the distinctively close scrutiny of the walking identity crisis JD Vance nee James David Vance (born James Donald Bowman) with his eyes so close together it looks like he could get away with wearing a sunglass.

I think right now we could all consider compassion.
The text says:

"This crow couple has been together for more than 12 years. She broke her beak 8 years ago in a collision with a car. He has patiently fed her and loved her since. They have babies every year and she is an affectionate mother, and the entire flock protect her.
Living proof that compassion is not limited to humans 🥰"

Middle Image (Photo 1):
Two crows are standing close together. The crow on the left has a visibly damaged or missing upper beak, while the other appears to be offering food, holding it in its beak. This seems to support the narrative of one crow helping the other.

Bottom Image (Photo 2):
The same two crows are shown engaging in a tender moment, where one appears to be feeding the other directly beak-to-beak, reinforcing the impression of caregiving and companionship.
