Leaving for Port Angeles early in the morning on a business/pleasure excursion.

Can't wait to get out of Allergy Hell for a few days and equally excited to be in the PNW during the Mariners playoff run.

Late Tuesday thought

Had a colleague who loved to brag about his academic accomplishments. He had no wife and no life outside school.

I left SHSU with a modest GPA, a wife, lifetime friends and stories of adventures to last forever.

I win.

More to college than books.

Heading to the doctor shortly in an attempt to rid myself of a 2 week long sinus infection that has gotten progressively worse

Can't sleep. Itchy eyes. Sore throat. Stuffy and runny nose. Pain below eyes.

Closing on our summer home in Port Angeles Thursday. Flying up Oct. 16 to get it furnished with the necessities.

No place on Earth I love like the PNW.

Plan is to spend each May through mid October along with the first week of April there.
