I think it’s the “we are going to be alright walking into the sunset” aspect of the ending. I think I place my self in their shoes and think “I am completely messed up bc of these events.” Both the slasher stuff and the camp stuff. But the main character was displayed as being kind of a badass so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Revisited this teen slasher #horror movie They/Them (which I love the word play on the title). Still like it. But the ending is just a little too cheesy. I wonder if I’m jaded now and don’t appreciate endings that have positivity now?

Watched this #horror film for the first time last night. It’s 1 of 2 Halloween movies I haven’t seen yet. I love stupid scary movies but this one was lazy? Other than Busta saying “trick r treat, mutha fucka!” I didn’t care for anything. Also why was Curtis even on the cover of the poster?

Watched the #horror movie Bring Her Back last night. Went in totally blind and absolutely loved it. Great slow burn that has you figuring things out along with the characters.

Between this and Talk To Me, Australia is putting out some banging scary films.

Went to a Boo-zy Book Fair at Human Robot brewery last night where Capricorn Books has a Halloween book table. I snagged this based on the cover.

When I returned to the table I apparently bought a shocking book according to my partner. I then received the lore surrounding it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
