Besides the fact the current government hates education. It’s painful as someone who grew up in the 90s pre no child left behind with fully funded libraries and PBS getting money to produce such fantastic programing as reading rainbow, Wishbone and Shining Time to see how far we fell.

And by vibrant culture I mean multiple cultures that got brutalized and pushed to the margins. Also note that this stuff in the museum was donated from what I understand by various Indigenous artists from across the country, so it’s not an unethical exhibit.

For anyone canceling streaming services for various reasons, keep in mind your local library. They usually have massive catalogs of dvds, blu ray discs and video games! Some even rent consoles or players. They also get copies of streaming shows. I’ve seen The Mandolorian and She Ra at mine!

As someone who still has faith, though much more in a spiritual sense at this point, I’d like to remind those who ignore the issues with guns in the US of bible verse James 26: “Faith without works is dead.” Other countries do not have this problem and neither do we need to.
