Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of London today in a massive demonstration for Palestine, expressing solidarity with Gaza and calling for justice and an end to the occupation.

Bought OTD in 1972: and the future. The hits are on the first side but the second is more experimental and far stranger. Postmodern pop with emotion and sound combinations never heard before - oboe with guitar and synth - culminating in the space age torch song Sea Breezes

Looking forward to seeing them again in Nottingham next June. But getting tickets was WAY too stressful.
You can’t beat TEE on a European train ride.👏👏

“Here Farage is, in Gill’s office, with Voloshyn’s wife Nadia, on the day Gill makes an intervention on behalf of Medvedchuk’s channels, with an employee of one of those channels, whose husband started bribing Gill to make these statements 6 days earlier”

'Stunned?' Farage's Admission He Knew Nathan Gill but Not His Kremlin Associates Does Not Stand Up to Scrutiny
Insiders have told Byline Times, it is 'inconceivable' the Reform Leader did not know about his close aide's pro Russian statements

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

The Trump administration is REALLY allowing Qatar to build an air base in the US after they did a $5.5 billion golf resort deal with Trump and gave him a jet.

MAGA can take their ‘America First’ flags and wipe their asses with them. He is Trump First, and you are suckers.

He did at least find time to remember that he did know Nathan Gill quite well after all 🤪

The Nobel Peace Prize was won by María Corina Machado.

Venezuela's opposition leader.

Her biggest policy, privatising Venezuela's Oil Reserves, the largest in the world, worth nearly $100tn.

Hmm... I wonder why she won?

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.
SHOCK POLL:
NIGEL FARAGE WILL BE PM TOMORROW
IN an amazing poll conducted
by The Pointless Polling Company, it was revealed that voters' intentions
may well change over the next three and a half years and at present it's 100 percent impossible to guess what the next government might look like.
However, 99 percent of journalists
agree that it would be much more fun if we had an election tomorrow and everybody resigned and everything was chaos and Farage had a go at being PM, just for the hell of it, because it was so much fun when
Brexit happened and then the government kept falling every five minutes and we could write endless pieces about (cont. p94)

Nigel Farage accuses teachers of "poisoning our kids" on race issues.

Here's a reminder of what teachers and fellow pupils at Farage's own school remember of his own views on that subject.

Ieyasu-kun, the mascot of Hamamatsu City, is modelled on Tokugawa Ieyasu, a shogun who once lived there. He has piano keys on his hakama skirt (Hamamatsu is home to keyboard manufacturers Yamaha, Kawai, and Roland).
A round-headed mascot with a helmet and a hakama with piano keys decorating it stands on a stage.
