Watched the latest Question Time that had @zackpolanski.bsky.social on it, and one of the most striking things about it was just how absent from most of the conversation the Labour rep on the panel was, and how much it was Reform v Green.

A sign of how the next election will go, perhaps?

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
